Well there you go, a 5 cylinder 2.0 turbo lump fitted under that slightly reshaped front... makes sense to me!

Maybe I should reconsider fitting my Tempra engine in My Uno...

Innenausstattung = "Interior". It has seats (Recaros) and a dashboard from a Coupe 20v turbo, not the engine. It quotes 150bhp, which from a real coupe 20vT engine would be way down on power.

I agree with the others I'm afraid, the front looks rank :yuck:. Sort the front end out (put it back to standard), fit standard mirrors and it would look a lot better. The arches are about the only current mod I actually like.

Ugly or not, its good quality work!

At least he`s using Fiat group headlights....(y)

The standard of work is good i agree, but i dont like the front end, its lost all the character of the uno. Are they alpha romeo headlights?? The grille looks vwish...
Wheels and those arches are beautiful, some things i do like on it. The mirrors are not too bad actually better then Mfreeeeeeees... they look like coupe mirrors??

When a woman has a big nose she gets a nose job to make it look smaller and better. this bloke went the other way and grafted a great lump of glass fibre onto the front of the car making it look all wrong. Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the Uno and has been one of the worlds leading car designers, shame that some numpty ONLY decided the graft the rear bumper off a 147 GTA onto the front of this car.

Ahh, I see.. I wonder what it is running then...

Its not completely to my taste either, however, it IS done well, have you ever tried grafting the front end onto something completely different? its very difficult! (very is an understatement!). With a more integrated front bumper & a bit more concentration around the headlights/grille, it`d be pretty good.

The interior looks good too.

Its probably quite easy to put a standard front end back on too...

Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder at the end of the day, if thats how he wants it, so be it! Maybe he isnt 100% happy with it & will try to make things flow a bit better later on. Things dont always come out as good as you expected them to be 1st time, sometimes it takes a few go`s to get it right.

I respect the builder in this case because I know the amount of work involved in projects like this.

The sun doesnt shine out of Giugiaro`s a*se either, yes, I like the Uno as well as many other designs he did, but look at some of the other vile Italdesign creations (other than the obvious Morris Ital) FSO Polonez, most of the 70s & 80s Hyundai`s, the Yugo, alot of the Daewoos, the Renault 19 & 21... hardly coveted design icons are they?:yuck:

Thats a Mark3 golf or polo 6n RS style front bumper, probably polo 6n as dimensions are similar to the uno. This Car does have some nice touches i'm a fan of VWs and the euro look but he messed it up with those headlights and grille lol

The quality looks top notch, but the outcome in my eyes is all wrong. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in my eyes this isn't a beautiful car. People don't like the Strada which I own and I can see what they mean. Everyones tastes are different, personally never seen the beauty in this sort of excessive styling.

As for what I've been smoking bulldog5046, clearly not enough otherwise I would have loved it man.
