need help!

hi there all. not posted in a while been tryin to get a new car... without success. so im stuck with tryin to fix my mk1 punto. wen i start it i hav to put foot to floor just to get it to start and still struggles sometimes. once its running theres white smoke comin out of exhuast, after a while it starts to overheat (cooling fan doesnt come on either). if im driving when i accelerate it jerks quite badly and sometimes when in 3rd gear if i let it go up to 5000rpm it loses all power and a huge (really huge) cloud of white smoke comes out of exhuast. then wen i open bonnet i see coolant pouring OUT of my induction kit... wtf! :shock:

anyone hav any ideas wat might be wrong?

mite be your cylinder head gasket, cheak your oil for white slunge in the cap.mick

yea theres white **** on inside o cap... didnt think i would be head gasket as i only just replaced it 2 months ago

dont think it should go that fast and did you do it rite and seal it probly and get it pessure tested or take it to a garage thay shouldent charge you to look at it.

my m8s dad is a mecanhic... he did it for me as the garage was wanting 600 pounds to do it :shock:
ill hav a chat wit him see if he will replace it for me again lol

just took my induction kit off. and the area it attaches too was absolutely caked in oil by the looks of it (its a creamy colour, same as under oil cap). does this mean its still the head gasket need replacing or something else?
