Hello!
Friend of mine just bought himself an Uno turbo Mk1 and we need some help with the rims.

Im not allowed to post links, so you'll have to copy and paste it.

Maybe you need to add http:// in front of it.

Looks like stock Cromodoras huh?
But Im confused over the fact that these have the Abarth scorpion in the middle.
When we bought the uno we got 6 extra rims for free, in 14 inch dimension. I thought they all were 13 inch?

And for the other fact, these seem to be VERY light. I can pick up one rim and tyre with 2 fingers without ut hurting, could it be magnesium rims? Since 2 of the rims even has track racing slicks :S

Is there a simple way of telling if they are made of magnesium or aluminium? Or should I just put them on a scale and check their weight?
Any ideas of what they should weigh if they are aluminium, and if they are magnesium?

Some guidelines would help a bit! :)

Thanks for a great forum,
Greetings from Sweden

Those are standard issue Cromadora wheels. In 14" form they were fitted to the 1980's Fiat Croma and also the phase 2 mk2 Strada Abarth 130TC. They are aluminium and NOT Magnesium Alloy. As for the centre caps/ badges, you can buy them off the 'net/ Ebay! Jai has recently bought some 14" Cromadoras for his mk1 Turbo - you can see them in this thread here:

Thanks for the reply.
I got the impression that these wheels should be pretty heavy? Somewhere about 8kg or so?

These aren't even close to this, and since the owner before obviously liked to turn with it, I thought they could be magnesium.
