was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find a chin cup for my mk1 panda? or if anyone could tell me that one from another car is compatible or can be modified to fit the car? cheers

Did a search of ebay and it didn't turn up anything. Sorry if this is a silly question but what is a chin cup? If it could be referred to by another name I could try again elsewhere? Italian eBay is sometimes a good shout too :)

yeah i messaged him and just awaiting a reply, was just wondering if it could get a quicker reply on here? and golf mk2 splitter? is it actually from a golf mk2? or is it just nicknamed that?

Yes, they're from a mk2 Golf. Mine's a simpler chin spoiler, John (PandaPanda) has a beefier version with fogs in. The trick is the bottom of the pre 'big bumper' facelift Golf/Jetta front bumper seems to be a really close match to the bottom of the Panda bumper so any chin spoiler for one of those is likely to be a neat fit. Seems to be plenty of choice, plenty of cooking versions in the veedub range.

cheers then i managed to find a beefy one that i like the look of...now just gotta wait for delivery and fitting

Does it fit a mk1 ok?
Si managed to fit one on a Marbella if that counts.
Proper mk1 is easy:

if a little pricey.

but yes for the benefit of the OP mine's a mk2. Mk1 looks like this::devil:

(.....in fairness, this one doesn't look like that any more, but you get the idea.) Different bumpers, lights, corrugated lower side panels, rear arches, tailgate, mirrors, engines (mostly) and rear suspension. I'm assuming since you PM'd me about mine that what you've got is actually a mk2.
