Hi guys, I'm writing on behalf of my bother who recently swapped his rx8 for an abarth grande 155 58 plate. We've encountered a lot of problems recently and it's booked in at are local abarth dealer for Thursday, but any advice that could be given from you guys would be great!
So here's the problems:
- the suspension on the front is knocking occasionally over bumpy ground (my sporting did this and required a new steering rack which cured it)
- the cars steering feedback in the straight ahead is none existent, the wheel moves considerably before effecting the direction.
- the car pulls violently to the left when not under acceleration, I.e when cruising (maybe worn bushes? Is this common?) we have checked tracking and it's all ok.
- the turbo has started to chatter excessively under load. This is since we had an essesse backbox fitted, but could it be related as the car sounds no different at all leading me to think its coincidental! Also will this essesse backbox effect the warranty? We are worried it will.
