General Neck pain

Hi all, I'm suffering from some spinal/neck pain while driving, I don't drive bolt upright nor do I drive lying flat. Would the angle of my backrest affect the pain in any way?? I don't like the feeling of being reclined.

Try fiddling with the backrest or something. Your back and head may be too upright putting a strain on your neck muscles.

I found the head restraints forward position to make me uncomfortable at first (its designed like that to reduce whiplash injury). A combination or making the seat base a little higher, the back a little more reclined and a little more lumbar support made this comfortable.
