N/S headlamp replacement

How the hell to i get to the bulbs without taking that big pipe thing off on the N/S it seems to obstruct my way to the panel where the bulbs are in my JTD, is there an easier way to do it

Then take it off.
I do, it's easy. Pops off; pops back on.

so you just pull it until it comes out?

yeah you have to pull it off! Just yank at either end
