Technical Mystery item attached to a twinair

Afternoon All
Was doing a bit of maintenance on my twinair cross and I’ve come across this on the passenger side just through the wheel arch should it have some thing screwed in it?

This is covered in an oder post... it is a pressure damper in the hydraulic line between the clutch pedal master cylinder and the slave on the gearbox, to reduce shock in the system,
