Technical Mysterious wiring by rear Axle/brakes

Good evening,

I am new to this forum and to modern Fiat's also.
I have just bought a 2008 Bravo 1,9 M-jet 150 HP.

This evening i located some unused wires in a bundle just over the rear axle. Right hand side, just besidde the brake pipes and handbrake cable.

Is there annonce that can explain What they Are for?

I have som more questions about the car. But lets start with this one

Here is a picture of the wire.

Difficult to say from your pic, but could be a previous owner has changed the rear pads, disconnected the pad wear indicators and twisted up the wiring out of the way.

 

[Most Easterly Pandas]

Could be the wiring for the self level headlight system, for the sensor on the rear axel, on models fitted with Bi-xenon HIDs.
