Wow fancy dials and stuff!

Wow! How the other half live. I love the LCD display - especially the speedo and rev counter, very po-u-sh.

Still one for the car swap????!!

I know what you mean about resolutions of screens. My laptop is only 15" but has a res of 1400x1050, building my website and viewing it on mine was fine, at school however nothing fits on the screen! Oh well :(

the only thing I can say about your car critical I think is that the alloys should be larger i think on such a nice car[?]

Does the back door slide or open the wrong way? Makes it easier for the Queen to get out I guess she's probably thinking of getting one to replace the Bentley it's so smart!

Looks like it slides from the look of the slit down the side of the car, I assume electrically opening Stuart?

Hi,

Soz, had to feed cat and guinea pigs.

The doors slide towards the back; on mine, not electric coz didn't want to spend £500. Instead paid £1100 extra for Connect + system i.e. LCD screen. Ports for DVD etc in glovebox
:)

And the Air con is awesome!

Ah forget the car swap then ;) I would prefer those extras too, my aircon doesn't work too well if it is hot outside, you can see it is turned on, the third pic on my signiture if you look closely ;)

Yes, very nice aircon.

The Ulysse is Multi-zone - two in front, plus middle row and back row.

The whole car is a great package.

I like the NAV wheel near the aircon, well useful

Yeah, know what you mean - they were the upgrade as well. 16", with tyre pressure sensors! - tyres are 215/60/16, so not that hot! It is hard to appreciate the size of the car though.

Yeah, I have to agree, it is so difficult to tell the size, you would honestly think less than 15" if you didn't take into consideration the size of the car, 16" is big enough I guess, just doesn't "fill" as much as it would on something smaller like the stilo. I am not saying it doesn't look good, just doesn't look proportional to the car maybe, oh i don't know and don't want to sound rude! I think you know what I mean anyway, and you have said you do so I will shut up.

I like the idea of pressure sensors - even less work! My grandpa once worked on making pressure sensing valves for tyres when he worked for either the RAF or the Uni Of Nottingham. Although 30 years ago so they weren't intended for something like a car i expect and only used colour. I.e. the valve showed green when within bounderies or red when outside of the preset values (all mechanic I expect), not ever sure if it worked but he told me about it and was amazed when I said "the laguna has pressure sensing valves"

Actually, FIat messed up on the order. Car came without tinted windows, even though ordered. Ended up getting it film tinted by a local specialist - well pleased with the quality!

Yeah, the advance is massive in terms of style but the same thing happened with the Mk3 espace (R-onwards). They realised that most people who can afford a large people carrier ARE bothererd about style and 20K+ for a car means that even if they did knock off a bit of style and made it no frills, it still wouldn't be available to "normal" families.

I mean compare the Ulysse/Espace/even Galaxy, they are all such elegent cars IMO (galaxy least) and you get the style of a top of the range BMW.

I hear the C8 and 807 have also made significant advances...

[:0][:0][:0]

And you have seen my overally modded car with 3 huge modifications, boy racer I am! I think I should leave now.

Richard; the C8, 807 and ulysse are basically the same car with different bits done by the different companies just with small indvidualities.
