I'm having elaborate mi goreng stir fried with chicken and vegetables.

Pie and Chips - common round here Having missed both breakfast and lunch, I needed something substantial to get me through the next few hours; I don't think noodles would've had the same effect Plus, at midnight on a Friday, there weren't many noodle bars open in this neck of the woods!

Come to England and ask for a Pukka Pie :yum:

I got weird stares from people in the uni library then (came to buy textbooks, waiting for the rain to ease before I head to the bus). Yeah we get pie and chips, they just don't look nearly quite as sad/yellow/deadly/poisonous as the ones in the picture

Yeah I figured it'd be the lighting/camera but felt the need to point out it didn't look edible

I mean you should hear the stories we get about the diets of you European folk - they're like a B horror movie.

Indeed, the camera-phone I was surprised at how much flash the box &its contents had absorbed and how little the rest of the cab was lit - black uniform trousers, black dashboard, dark out, etc They looked a lot better in the flesh, and tasted it too :yum:

Pork in black bean sauce tonight by the way, with egg fried rice and a Co-Op Freeminer beer (after an afternoon with Damon, Austen &Charlotte)

Went to a German 'club' with the ladies and gentlemen, I was craving a chicken schnitzel - so I satisfied that and then washed it down with 5 bottles of Koenig Pilsner

I bought some curry paste from a Chinese shop in Lancaster, so I thought i'd make the sauce and then re-heat later, god job I did, cos it was foul!!!

So going back to the good old stuff I have in the cupboard.

When I can find somewhere that sells the Goldfish curry paste I will be very happy, ain't paying £4 off eBay!

i had quorn hot dog (1.5 syns) in a worburtons (sp) 3 seed roll (is a B choice) with roasted onion ( 3 squirts of fry light) and home made wedges (they free)

Fries, some southern fried chicken for Iceland and some Mexican salsa bites from Iceland too, which I would highly recommend.

Still hungry though.

Got some Goldfish Curry Paste! Also spent another £10 on various stuff!

So we had, Egg fried rice, Chicken curry with beanspouts, mushrooms, red pepper and onions! Also had prawn crackers, sweet chilli dipping sauce and a Fortune cookie for afterwards!

Also got some Spring Rolls today, 60 for £2! and got some Wonton pastry, so I'll be having a crack at them next!
