hey guys, just to check...what colour is the remote wire in the fiats? it is blue?

probz is the earthing, same sort of thing happened to me the light come on amp but no sound, so i re earthed it to a better place and yep it worked

hahaha hopefully that will work Subs are quite simple to fit but for some reason there is always a problem and you never know what it is.

Literally for me it was just playing around with the earthwire till the light came on

Don't have to have power down a seperate side to the RCA's, both are different sorts of current and shouldn't cross talk. Make sure you have decent cabling, The shortest earth cable possible, nothing coiled up or tucked away excess. If you still have interference, check the HU earth.

One way to test for interference down the cables. Remove HU and unplug RCA's. If you can hear buzzing then its a cable fault. Replace with decent ones. Unplug the RCA's from the amp. If the buzzing is still there then its an earth fault. You can always grab a second pair and just chuck it through the car to test as well.

Remote wire in FIAT's? there is no remote wire as standard in the 'cento...its whatever colour you install

my power runs up the wiring side of the car with the RCA as well and no probs

Also, the plastic part the parcel shelf bolts onto, unbolt the rear bolt on either side.....nice earth for the amp/sub.

You have ran a decent power wire direct from battery haven't you?

Himate spect you got the tube workng now but ive got the same bas tube and the same problem with the grounding also i forgot it was just a bass tube and nothing else so when i t was working i just took it it was faulty however when i urned oit right up i realise its job is just bass and that it really does kick out a mean punch any way theres my advice just turn thevolume right up
