My seicento project

I bought a seicento sporting as a project a couple of weeks ago as the owner thought the head gasket had gone.I drove it 15 miles home and sure enough it was overheating and loads of steam was being produced out of the header tank as i was reversing up my drive.I tested the fan which was ok,the fan thermoswitch what was gubbed and chucked the thermostat into a bucket of boiling water and it was knackard also.I bought the new parts from shop4parts which arrived quickly and i banged them on,left the car running for an age and it seems to be fine.The car will be going on the road next week and i will see how it goes from there on and am looking forward to the cheap running costs of the wee fiat!!.
