however, lose the lights, put the number plate back and with a little subtle styling you'll be onto a winner. especially with the unusual wheels (for a punto)

ok well thats killed that. i understand that some like the abarth kits and normal crap like that but when someone tries something new you people dont like it and are just rude. whenever i come on this forum i just see people slagging of other peoples cars and if thats what its about then i want no part of it. there are some considerate people that say they dont like parts but fair play but some people are just dam rude. enjoy making all your cars look the same.

Whats the point in making a 1.2 8v into a Rally car? Where you gonna rally around? Tesco car park?

you are not doing nothing new though, plenty have done what you are trying to do, some have been better than others

So far, what I've seen on FF has been pretty constructive - would be a shame to go the way of so many other forums and just have a slag fest.....

That having been said, I think the OP needs to understand that if you ask for comments about your car on a public forum, some folk might not be that kind......

To be constructive, I'd say you need to think what result you're looking for and then do some homework.

Rally cars generally AREN'T on the floor, nor do they tend to have spoliers and side skirts or other stuff that gets easily ripped off by a passing rock or tree stump.....

Doing something 'new' is REALLY hard, as modifying cars has been popular in this country for well over 50 years - and a LOT longer in the states.

But rather trying to be 'new' or even just to copy any particular style - just do whatever YOU want with YOUR car.

Post piccies if you want, but just be prepared for negative comments along with the positive - as long as your reply is always 'Well, I like it.....' (y)
