Hello to you, I'm Chris from Northampton

Nice little forum you have here.

Here are a few pics of my car:

Looks a bit of a mess at the moment as i'm doing a Punto GT conversion on her

Spoiler has gone now and i have a lovely carbon fibre one to fit.

My car was once a 55S model until i converted it into a GT quite recently, its still not 100% finished but it is very close.

all opinions welcome.

because it is yellow.

it has a blue pearl on top of the broom yellow making it flip, and the flouresent lights in the car park i took those photos made it flip out lol

i used to lvoe my old spoiler, but i've gone off it loads.

No doubt! I'd love a GT conversion but most aspects of fixing the car scare me, so theres no change it'll happen. Would be nice though!

You goin to have trouble insuring it as a conversion?! Thats one thing that put me off big time from finding parts etc. The thought of insuring it! :bang:

nope, insuring it is easy, greenlight have given me a good quote, especially with the 10% off i get from being a member of the PSC.

my car has changed a little more since i posted this!

GT conversion is complete and a few more bodywork changes....

Very nice car mate, must say it does look better with out that big wing!

One thing I would say though (if I may) Colour code the bump strips on the side!

Then you finished!

bump strips are going as soon as i can spare the cash. also the door handles are getting colour coded alone with scuttle panel and the plstic bits along the rear windows.

it has changed a bit more since i took these pics, but havent had chance to take some more yet.

tints are now gone and i now have impreza front seats.
