Not really noticed any difference with the intercooler, and to tell the truth I wasn't expecting any difference. I got it because of the tmc box, as it would help cool the turbo better as it going though more strain.

An intercooler is to cool the air from the turbo to the engine, not to cool the turbo, plenty people make that mistake. But looking good regardless, although I'd be inclined on getting the GT1446Z thats fitted to the abarth punto Evo's

Damb I should pay more attention at college we I was doing mechanics and i qould have noticed that mistake haha. And i would consider getting the abarth turbo but a don't know what is involved in changing them? Is it just as simple as bolting it on? Or would i have to get it mapped?

It would run like a bag of ***** until it was mapped properly, but if done correctly, could see around or even above 200 :devil:

Well its been nearly a year since I last updated this thread, not much has happened over the last 8 months really.

I bought a set of 18'' inovit ST6 alloys and had them refurbished (before and after pictures below) but I never got round to fitting them, wish I had fitted them now as I think they look great.

My PCP deal with my car was coming to an end so I need to make my mind up if I wanted to keep the Punto for another 3 year or go and trade it in for some thing better.

After about a month of thinking what to do and having a sly look on pistonheads and autotrader I found a new car. A VW Golf Mk5 R32 to be exact (picture below) and I couldnt be more happy with, It is the fastest thing I have ever driven day to day and its built like a tank.

I was very happy with my Punto Evo over the three year of having it, it never missed a beat.

P.s. every thing I fitted to my Punto is up for sale now except the intercooler or the lowering springs as I let them go with the car. If any one is interested just drop me a pm.
