i could go out for a drive, if i really wanted :p
meh!

All I know beau is it's probably not worth it...

and re the alloys, why waste money on getting a shíte set when you could have saved up for when you can drive and then get a decent set - even the abarth ones. I'd much rather wait and get the set I want, and seeing as you had a perfectly good set on there already, why bother getting a second option.

I seem to remember everyone pushing me to get a set of GT3's when I got the tempra wheels. I saved the money I would have spent and got the Abarth ones, because I hadn't wasted money on shít bits for the car.

what in the car that needed to be towed to your house?

lol well he wasnt exactly gunna drive it was he.

just got back yesterday, so missed this whole thing, probably a good thing I stayed out of it.

on the car front nice one!!
remove the stickers and the gt badge, and the goldie looking ebay thing (I've got a real abarth one in my big box of uni stuff pealed off a cinq abarth).
dent in drivers door is fixable.
passenger looks messy, hence the price I suppose, wont be the end of the world to find a tidier door skin (£20 maybe and a mornings work?)

as for engine, you've fell into the 75 realm of problems, 75jr in wigton has one too, and just like me he regulary gets ecu and 23mpg. I think they just have a bad temprement, but 75 from a 1242 8v is enough to forgive it!!!
Just changed the little watch battery in my ecu as it forgot its maps after main battery went dead, cost £3 for a little round battery, and hopefully I shouldnt get any more problems! will get back in a few weeks with the outcome.

as as you say, change them orrible wheels for some anthracity 16v sporting ones. gonna get mine tidied up and anthra'd, get a fresh tyre to match the others (some nankangs that no one has anywhere, expensive at 40 a corner, but no one has any, so I'm at a loss as the car drives like **** with 3 of nan's and 1x dodgy remould, so the steels are still on but rubber is running out fast. gonna have to pay for one to be posted up from south).

well i put on sporting door cards, i need speaker pods asap! cos errrr look at em :p got some old tatty speakers filling in the holes for now :(

and also fitted lockwood dials, now these are the ones which DO NOT fit at all, i have spent hours on these, and what do i go and do, mess up one of em :( but luckily it was the middle, so its still even, and tbh, i like it

Bloody cheap! what's wrong with it you've found so far?
well whats wrong, engine seems to run alright, it sounds a bit unhealthy but might just need a service as it does drive perfect. the fan doesnt come on it tho works cos under bonnet its been wired so you can do it by hand but it dont come on automatically.

then it needs 2 new doors and passenger rear quarter sorted, and general tidying but its a nice project :)

no its not lol, its got better, still sounds crap compared to sisters engine but compared to when it was started the day i got it, it sounds brilliant lol
all engines sound different beau. you cant really compare the sound of yours to your sisters

Lol, I remember revving the tits off my first car and driving it up and down the drive  It spat a piston a week after I passed my test, possibly caused by revving it from cold. So take that as a warning...

iv used up half a tank of petrol just revving it lol its on empty now :(

i hate having a car! so much to do, but insted of sorting it, i buy mods insted of servicing, brake pads, getting fan sorted etc lol
