General My problems so far!

I have had a message saying that one tyre was low pressure. - cant remember exact words, but it did say which one.

Hadnt thought of that out of phase idea. Although i'd be surprised if it made that much difference.

Hi,

The problem is that often the chassis of the speaker is earthed (not on purpose, but just due to the fact it is a metal chassis bolted in car), the high and low frequency speakers come from the same amp output I believe, so if there was a connection problem it could be grounding the output.

This could also explain the shut down of the system. Does it do it when the radio is switch off, but the telephone etc is on.

Hi Poggy,

Hmmn, you could be onto something here. As you say, that might explain the lack of volume AND the "shutting down due to overtemperature.". I'm not sure if if happens without the radio as I always have either the radio or CD on (pretty much anyway), but from what I recall, its usually when I have the volume up loud.
