Was only on for 2 days.
Bugger!!!! iI will never get a second one!!

Now seeing those 4x4's...they look fantastic!!!!!
I take it our only option is the older ones????? Please advise.

The closest I got to Portugal in the panda was Tarifa in the bottom corner of Spain on the way back from Morocco

Ok MEP....if you get that 4x4 you will have to come along (y)

Ok, this is where i normally make a life changing decisoin...

Alan and I were out for a curry and someone had to drive the XM home and it wasn't me.... but that's where all the best Panda Adventures come from!!!!

So I was chatting to him about 2009 and that in 2007 we drove from the most westernly bit of europe to basicly Asia in the panda so for next year we would go from Ireland to the most northernly part of of Europe that you can drive to (Norkapp in Norway) and then to the Most sourthernly bit of Europe (that would be Tarifa) and call in with a few friends on the way for a bit of an international panda meet up across europe as the last time we did this we just happened to be trying to race the Orient Express and we ballsed up trying to meet up with the Polish guys (Sorry!) and I dont' think the Portugal panda club have had any FF visitors at all...

So I don't expect anyone to come with us but if you'd like to meet any of the international panda clubs you could always just see us in Poland (portugal is a bit far away for most people but hay, make a holiday out of it?)

Going to go update this soon...

Yeah jim....noticed you are heading north. Also read ALL your adventures...the up's and the downs!!!
Mind you anything i have ever done in the past the downs tend to fade and the up's make you want to do it all over again..(losing most of my bowels in the himalayas is but a distant memory!!!!)
Would love to do something and a meet in poland might just work. (y)
Still fancy portugal at some point as well!!
Will continue to check out your plans.

Ok MEP it's you and me to portugal!!!!!

Kev

I also forgot about the Germans too... They're a bit closer but their really mental, LOL

(But very nice people, they may want to float their panda's down some rapids on a raft but we don't have too if we don't want too, LOL)

:)

Portugal it's not so far... you can catch a ferry from Plymouth do Bilbao (north of Spain) from there it's only about 5 hours.

If some day you plan to go here, say, so we can organize a meeting, and you participate on it.

We are planning to go to Morroco next year, maybe in easter, it's about 7 days.

Don't mention Morocco... I'm still in therapy from the last time we took the panda there!

But seriously, it would be a logistal nightmare for us FiatForum'ers but I'm really interested in running North / South and meeting up with as many Panda clubs as I can in one go. I've no date set but I think Summer would be best to get the weather in Scandnavia.

This requires some thougth and some PM's to the heads of the 3 clubs I think ;)

The idea would be to get 3 events (or 2 if we can get the germans and the poles to do one together in one country) that would happend within a 14 day period.

As you know from the www.littlefiatbigadventure.com stuff this is what I do for kicks so it is going to happen next year. It's just a matter of logistics now

(that should be the fun bit, LOL:devil:)
