Sorry Mike, I'm going to have to disagree with almost every point in your post
Not cheeky at all and may even be helping traffic as by using the empty outside lane instead of sitting in the long queue in the inside lane he's possibly preventing blocking other routes further back. Not his fault others prefer to queue
The problem* here isn't caused by those in the outside lane but by those in the inside lane slowing to let people out of the B977. It is then made worse by those who have not used the free lane and queued for up to 2 miles getting upset with people quite rightly using the empty outside lane. If people used both lanes and merged in turn where the problem occurs then waiting time would be almost halved.
*Actually the problem was caused by idiot road planners who ended a dual carriageway approx 100 metres after a major commuting road joins it :rollseyes:
