Yeah do the video (y) Is the exhuast a full system/cat back/turbo back?

London....? Thats no good! lol
Full system with a 15bhp increase. Only cost me £1,200

Jeepers mate, you are miles away from the midlands let alone London, I was gonna suggest a meet in Coventry as I'm going there in a couple of weeks time.

This is taken from the Miltek websites

Milltek Sport are proud to announce that the sports exhaust system for the stunning Vauxhall Astra VXR is now available. The system is either available as a full system from the turbo-back (large-bore downpipe, hi-flow sports catalyst, centre silencer, connecting pipe, and rear silencer)
or from the catalyst back (centre silencer, connecting pipe, and rear silencer).
The full system not only gives a useful weight saving over the original but also releases an extra power increase of 15bhp+ as well as 15lbs/ft of torque. The throttle response becomes instantaneous and turbo-lag is virtually eliminated. The large-bore downpipe, in combination with the hi-flow sports cat, reduces backpressure close to the turbo outlet causing the turbo to spool up quicker and boost is delivered earlier in the rev range. The sound is an intoxicating blend of sporty aggression and subtle but satisfying increase in volume.

And this one from the place that's providing it

If you want power then the full system will fit the bill.

The standard system has a pre cat (small catelytic converter) and a 400 cell main cat. Both these combine to slow down airflow and restrict power from the engine. With a full VXR system these are replaced with a pre-cat replacement pipe (straight through pipe) and a replacement 200 cell HJS sports cat.

Moving from 400 cell to 200 cell effectively doubles the airflow through the system but is still complies fully with any MOT requirements. HJS are the World leader in full motorsport cats (very different to normal sports cats) and even feature on WRC rally cars.

The zorst also has a lifetime garantee, so as long as I keep the car, I'll get my money's worth :)

(y) Exhaust is on and  Awesome, power delivery is so smooth and the car is even more responsive.

Problem is, I can't try it out properly yet because I need a new front tyre so it would be a little dangerous, and it's on order. £210 for a trye

Why a new front tyre?
The inner edge has a split in it and the cord is showing. Something to do with very low profiles having no flexibility and hitting a dodgey bit of road while cornering very hard can cause it  It wasn't me, honest :D

Sh*t  Have a go at the council for poor road maintenance!

Have you got any...no wait, show us the photos of your exhaust :D
lol, I actually haven't got any pics yet :D .......

But there's a reason for that :D

When cold the pipe sits flush to the rear bumper, but when hot the pipe expands to reveal the VXR logo engraved into the top of the pipe :D
Obviously having a dodgey tyre I couldn't heat up the system as much as I would have liked :) So I'll get pictures once that's sorted ;)

i dont undertsand, sorry if im jus being blonde lol  but it expands when its hot, how and whay would it do that?

But it is cool

Do you realise Rob that stainless steel GROWS when hot :) yes Ime not kidding you it does :)

Apparently the better grades of stainless steel expands more than the lower grades, that would explain the hefty price tag of the full system.

I have to say it's easily the best £1,200 I have spent on anything car related, the performance of the car is stunning, there's no noticable turbo lag and it sounds like a rally car now, but only when you want it too, I can potter around town and there's no extra noise at all but when I push it it just roars and pops like mad when you decelerate. I can't wait to get the remap done now :worship:

Anyway, a couple of pictures, one of the exhaust and one of my new PPC which does excellent sat nav and speed camera detection, also what do you think of the red mats ?

thats a gorgeous looking 'zorst mate, and the mat's look good too(y)

bloke at work came in the other morning saying he'd seen a new astra with a centre exit exhaust come hurtling down the M61 near bolton with an aston martin behind it, he reckons it was shifting close to 140mph or something like that. he was well impressed!

Well they were meant to be driven fast I spose :D
They all have the centre exit exhausts. The factory fitted ones have a trapezoid shaped pipe so you know the car is the standard 240bhp unless it's been mapped or something else, but it would be silly to remap this car without going for the full Miltek system first. The Milteks are oval shaped and sound really amazing compared to standard ones. Thorney motorsports tested their VXR which is stage 2 Remap and Miltek and got it up to 160mph with a head wind. Not too shabby for an 18K car

So you like the mats too then :chin: I wasn't sure if I should get them so I photoshopped the originals to see what they'd look like, if I get enough possitives on here then I'll order some. They won't be identical to those though, the quality will be a lot better and they will be real too :D ;)

Thanks for your input mate ;)
