Got it all in...
Now running a pair of Fusion FSC-4 components in the dash with the tweeters mounted up on top of the dash, reflecting off the windscreen. These are powered by an SPLX amp (
dont laugh!). These are high passed at 150hz.
A Pioneer TSW-305C 12" sub powered by a JBL GTO2000 in the boot low passed at 145hz.
The amps are on an MDF floor along with all the cabling, dizzy blocks etc... all covered over with a false floor and the sub box on top. The sub is in a 1cuft sealed box. Its all carpeted in black carpet with a lovely blue neon.
The SPLX amp really isnt as bad as I thought it would be, I';ve had it sat in my bedroom for about a month waiting to go in, all this time I've been thinking... "I should have saved up and bought a decent amp" but it has surprised me, I tried setting the gains when it was all in and was far too loud at the highest possible, I have it about 10% up at the moment, I'll be trying to set it up again in a couple of weeks when the speakers have been run in.
