This is my latest car, an 04 Stilo Multiwagon 1.6 Active Aircon. I've had it for 2 weeks and it's a cracking car, definitely a step up from the Brava. The room in the boot is amazing. I had a single bed in it with the back seats down last week. :)

Fuel consumption is not great from the 1.6, but no worse than the 1.6 Brava at about 35 MPG.

I really like the interior colour :)
I don't like the back end styling on the Stilo Multiwagon, but when you're driving it, you can't see it, so it doesn't matter!

I thought you hated Stilos?

I never said I hated them, I said I would never own one. It was the stories about dodgy electrics/airbag lights/breakdowns, etc that put me off. I did a lot of reading and asking for advice before I bought one. The general concensus is that the earlier cars (02/03) are troublesome, but from late 03 onwards Fiat sorted this out. So far so good on this one, but if it starts to play up it will be for sale pretty swiftly.

I actually like Stilos, I still think the Bravo/a range was better styled, but in terms of build quality and equipment levels the Stilos have them beat. It's effortless to drive and very very comfortable.

It's really really nice, but it's soooo not you.

Like its road worthy...

It doesn't need rebuilt by Stu....

It's all one colour....

There's NO RUST!!!!

Get shot of it before you start turning into an old car hater that won't tinker at his cars anymore:rolleyes:

At last I found this thread! Welcome to the world of the Estate :D

13k eh? Just a tad more than the JTD multi wagon I convinced a friend to buy. Same interior but his is metalic black. I felt the driving position was quite high when compared to my Marea however it didn't wallow through the corners, nice and tight drive. (y)

How did I miss this thread  I've been wondering if you got the car Steve.

Wow that interior looks spotless, I love the contrasting colours, it has to be my favourite Stilo interior.

lol, I just read through the rest of the thread and seen how many people have commented on the interior :D Ah well I'll leave my comment, the more the merrier eh.

They are certainly practical cars, that boot is massive

Cheers Colm. :)

I'm not sure about moving up in the world though, I'm not one for social climbing. The Stilo is nice, but I prefer my small Fiats. I'm currently making my wife drive it despite her being terrified of it's size and I'm farting around in my 10 year old Punto. In fact most days she takes the Seicento and the Stilo stays at home!
