Alright,

I pick up my recently purchased sporting/punto alloys tommorow... I have sorted the bolts for it, however someone has been harping on at me today about getting them "balanced" once fit.

They come with tyres and I was goin to whack them on with the new bolts and done... is this wrong to do? Pretty clueless about it im afraid! Would this also need to be done once lower profile tyres for the alloys are put on them?

Regards

Damon

they should already be balanced if not tho yes you should get it done b4 puting them on the car

yeh if they have tyres on already they should be alright. even if they hadnt been balanced it wouldnt be too much of a prob anyway - it would just feel a bit bumpy/juddery when going fast

If they're used/2nd hand with tyres then they should be okay.

Tyre fitter will balance them when new rubber goes on.

Nice one man, yeah the tyres on atm are the ones with the alloys, so second hand! I wont bet getting new tyres for a while anywho so they will get rebalanced then.

Thanks again, going to order some bolts for it from Richieguy and then get them on the car asap! They're alot wider then my old wheels. they will look swish!

Thanks again
