Hi all, well after being let down on a couple of pandas I've finally got one. It was from the classifieds on the forum. One family owned from new. It failed it mot on welding but was too good to scrap so it needed a good home. It's first journey was on a transporter from Surrey to Leicester. Well work has commenced already and I've found a few more holes in it! My plan is to sort all the little jobs out (I've done a few already) get it welded and moted and have it as a rolling restoration. Shame I've had to remove the fog light grille but it was broken and also one of the lights cracked. I do have a decent spare light if anyone is after one. Cheers for now.

Welcome,

Nice to here that another never ending project will be on road.

Any chance that broken grill is still available? I could do some plastic welding to make it back in one piece unless huge chunks of it were missing. Light unit can be replaced.

Let me know if interested.

Sorry but it was well gone. All the mounting lugs snapped and most of the top row of the grille was missing

Yep I salvaged what I could from it so the decent lamp is available. It's a shame it was so busted as I liked it and would have kept it on.

Well I've had the car for a few weeks now. I stripped the whole interior out for cleaning and found a few more holes! I've kept the welder in beer for quite a while lol. Everything was refitted and it went for its mot on Friday. It failed on a bottom ball joint and the two top mounts, not too bad I suppose! I've taken loads of piccys along the way. Here's a sample. Cheers for now
