General My new Marea

Another (probably stupid question) - where is the normal position of the temperature gauge? Mine is standing right over the big line after the C-sign on the bottom. Is this normal working temperature?

I took this picture this morning after driving from home to my work.

Is this normal temperature for Fiat Marea 1.9 JTD105?

Between there and halfway is the norm, it'd depend on the drive, the outside temp etc. I take it it moves up and down etc?

It moves just a bit over and a bit below this line. Never went higher...
Actually, most of the time, when the engine is hot, it stays almost static over the line.

New car.....new problems.
I notice a water leak just behind the front left wheel. It is not antifreeze, does not have smell and is just like water. (My antifreeze is green)

Any suggestions? :bang:

The leak is more than the air conditioning unit dumping excess water. I get it all the time. Its normal.
