Just thought I would share this photo, it demonstrates a small Uno fetish, the two at the top are mine (both have since sold), the one on the right is AlexGSs car (at the time), and thats Alex standing next to it. There is another blue Uno that is outside of the frame, and my Yellow Uno is in the garage, I had just removed a parts Uno shell as well. I'm not sure what my neighbours think. Thats 5 Unos on my property at the one time (and 4 of them are mine). Plus we have a mini...
Thanks for finding that photo, James

There was probably a red shell in front of your garage in the outdoor-living area as well!
However, whenever I catch a sight of that towball on the red Uno 70SL, it makes me remember the attached photo (with a shudder). That is, of course, ANOTHER red Uno, so we've had five between us - just the red ones, that is.
They never looked much good to start with - our red Unos - nothing like as nice as Chas' new beast. But in the end they looked OK. Mine even had Panda plastic wheel covers

How much did it cost me again - I think it was $250? Great value car!
Fortunately now that you have only one Uno, and I have just the best type of standard Uno made

, I reckon we are approaching Uno nirvana. The only thing better would be if I bought a really-expensive and absolutely-standard Mk1 Turbo with no rust - because it is getting to the rust that really gets you down with owning a 20-year-old Uno.
Next year, most models of the Tipo turn 20. I've still yet to see a rusty Tipo in NZ, except for that one that had a mysterious hole in the floor, and one in Mal's yard that had a suspicious door repair that had turned rusty. It's nothing like the anytime, anywhere rust on the Uno
