Here's my GP. I used to own a MK2 Punto a few years ago and got this late last year. Over the next few months I'll be making some mods to it. Already done the calipers & drums. I'm fitting mud flaps, a shark fin aerial, an exhaust tip, xenon lights, blacking out the rear windows, re-badging to the new red ones, and I'm also going to plastidip the alloys a gloss black with a red pin stripe. The white stickers are going, and I'm going to look for something nice in black. Any thoughts/suggestions? I fancy lowering it too, however that may have to wait due to how much it'll cost.

Also, any recommendation on how low I should lower it? I've found 30mm and 55mm springs for about £90. I don't fancy risking it scraping over bumps.

nice car mate Eibach Sportlines for the lows i have them and only scrape on really high things and yeah they are the right headlights the link but you need them for a series 1 they look like they are for a series 2 (Just diffrent connectors) your best bet it partsworld.com and if you donate on here you get 10% discount ;)

Jordan.

Nice car mate best colour not biased at all lol

Haha. Cheers. Is that black alloys on yours I see?

I've just started spraying mine this afternoon. Felt inspired after I did my first post ;) Also got rid of the stickers. You can see how manky the car is from where I've rubbed off the sticker residue.

SJB1985 Jordan92 I've had a look at the Eibach ones there and they're double the price of what I found. Haha. I guess the difference will be worth it though.

And yeah I've just checked the lights properly there and they don't fit my model. I'll certainly check out partsworld. It'll be worth donating for the 10% like. I'm also eying up one of the FF stickers ;)

nice work on the alloys.

TBH i was going to go for some cheaper springs but i cant fault the sportlines one bit only thing with mine is that the owner before me had new shocks so there still a bit stiff so my ride hight hasnt come down as low as id liked but hay ho! lol

And you cant go wrong with an FF sticker mate ;)

Cheers. I've just ordered the red pinstripe vinyl for the edges of them and I'm thinking about these for the middles instead of the usual badge http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181019078650?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Also managed to pick up two brand new red front & rear badges on eBay today for £1.20. Bargain. Hate the fact that it's got blue ones on a red car. lol. Think I might have to wait for a FF sticker as the white interior ones are out of stock :(

yeah we got black alloys, i think red and black look good together, we got a black spoiler and wing mirrors too :D

Just a quick update. Since I last posted I've stuck the new badges on the alloys and put a chrome exhaust tip on it. I've got a new, smaller aerial on it's way, and I'm looking into buying a badgeless grille, rather than re-badging. Need some ideas on what I should do with the gap where the rear badge would be though?

Today I covered the door posts in vinyl to bring them back to life. As you can see from the photo, it's worked a treat. Didn't even take that long either.

Been thinking about doing the plastic at the top of the bonnet as well as the wing mirrors. Got a feeling they might be slightly more tricky than these though...
