(Update
I got my head gasket done, woop woop. So I have a new timing belt, new water pump, new head gasket obviously, a steel one.
I also got an oil filter and air filter and fresh oil and coolant. I put a new battery in too and have to give it a small clean.
I've only had it back a few hours and it's running better than ever before. So my little Punto seems to be perfect now.
I love it and it's driving really well now. Smoke gone and everything yay.

(News
Had some trouble with the first mechanic I chose, he overcharged, bi***ed about doing the rocker cover gasket and put oil and coolant in without asking me, he also put my oil cap back cross threaded and told me to drive it (I didn't realise he cross threaded the cap). So my engine bay got covered in oil and the car generally ran dry. I brought it straight back to try to get him to sort it as I started having more issues after that.
So he had it one night, and the next day tried to tell me the piston rings were gone and I needed a whole new engine , I said I was taking the car and did, turns out he fouled the spark plugs and gave it to me running on two cylinders. I don't see how he managed this as according to him he didn't even do compression testing, he "revved it and knew":bang:.
Since then I've said F**k it to that mechanic, won't let anyone go to him. I put wynnes in the car, (Like compression and smoke treatment for oil) and got it to another guy, he had it for a night and got it running nicer than ever for €10 :worship:. He hated Puntos apparently though and he did want me to get rid of it.
So since that again, after thinking I completely failed in buying my first car, I got a reliable mechanic friend to check it, the head gasket is gone now, barely, but it is gone. I'm getting it sorted as soon as I have the money so I'm doing the timing belt and water pump too for good measure, and an oil filter and air filter.
Hoping its sorted soon cause I seem to be having bad luck haha. My bike chain snapped the same day I got the car back from that awful mechanic who fouled the plugs:yuck:. I don't think I should trust mechanics who aren't bl**dy covered in oil.
I fitted a great radio in the car and I've also found a new dent on it from someone in my carpark and been reversed into at a supermarket. Fingers crossed I get flooded with good luck soon.
I've polished the lights and got some scum off, and I'm really confident driving now, so I'll be applying to do my test as soon as the Head Gasket is fixed, hopefully in a week or two .
)
Thanks for checking out my car.
Here's some more pics:
Interior (Wide)
Clocks & Mileage
My Pioneer HU (Head Unit), some different colours (Fully customisable):
Blue & White
Green & Red
Orange or Amber, to match the dials.
Oh yeah, it gets good mileage too, 50ish mpg at around 60mph being consistent (National Roads),
and through town it gets between 36 and 40 ish mpg.
