tbh, even with just a set 50mm drop u may find u scrape at times. but its how u roll when slammed. lol
have to see how its goes but i will be fitting them myself to save some money lol i just know , know that my doors will be the 1st thing damaged due to the dumb mrs lol, and i never have people in the back only in an emergencys

I had some 40mm Gmax springs, they were ok. 50mm spax seem to be very popular though
im gettin quite pi**ed off tbh i want lowering springs or coilovers , ive been told 50mm on the back my car will be to low and rub also ,50mm on the front will still be high as the engine isnt that heavy

well ma mates looked over my car today and said my shocks are fine ... and will last a while with springs on but ive heard people saying that the ride is shockingly bad and wont be hard or expensive to replace
the ride wont be great either way round... worse on standard shocks tho as they are not designed for that level of permanent compression and restriction and will take less to bottom out. hense the reason why coilovers have adjustable shocks to compensate in a sense and why u can get "shortened" shocks for lowering springs. there is good and bad to both sides. short term, just springs is cheaper... further down the road, coilovers are cheaper... unless u crash and bend em, but lets be fair.... no one is in any rush to crash and as normal driving goes, the shocks will be getting a constant bashing. if u go 60/40, the back wont be as bad with just springs, but 60mm drop on the front will take a real bashing and i cant see the shocks lasting long at all.

GRRRRRRR , y cant cars be simple

they can..... 1 simple rule... they work untill they dont. lol

stick to the last choice u made and buy coilovers. set em up for a 60/40 drop so front not too high, back not too low and less likely to rub/bottom out... not to mention a better stance. and as a bonus, if u dont like it, u can change it to suit ya.

Alot of people have 50mm Spax springs. The back sits slightly lower then the front but should scrap on standard wheels.
