Introduction
My '21 Abarth 595 - a regular 145 but in lovely Podium Blue and with what seems to be a very rare factory brown "quilted" leather interior which was what made me have to have it.
The wheels are non-standard - I've always liked these late 500 "S" option 16s so replaced the regular Abarth 16s with these. They look bigger somehow (not sure why - optical illusion from the shiny bit near the edge, I assume...) but maintains the good ride of the 16s.
Such a great all rounder - fast, fun but also (in 145 bhp spec at least) surprisingly easy to live with (rides better than my last regular 500, great on a long journey), practical, charismatic...I do love it so.
In truth it has a hard life as a hack for the business (I'm a smalltime Fiat specialist mechanic in Kent, albeit just starting to think of winding down for "retirement"). But I do give it a wash occasionally and it is very well maintained....
