Hello, I have 2003 doblo 1.9jtd that I use as a daily driver and for road trips, recently the handbrake light started to come on,The brake pads are in good condition so I added dot4 brake fluid, every month it needed adding a little fluid, suddenly the clutch started feeling weak and I could hardly force it into first gear, I added fluid but nothing changed, I found out that the slave clutch cylinder is leaking oil and in bad shape, I ordered the parts and am parking the car until I get the parts, today I discovered the rear wheel is leaking oil, which am guessing is a bad rear brake cylinder, is it a coincidence? Or does it have to do with the new brake fluid? Why would the car suddenly start leaking in different locations in the same system? I didn't overfill the reservoir.

How old ( dirty) was the old fluid ?
Its possible that without the contaminants the new fluid appears 'thinner'
