If the air bag light does not go out then check the connectors under both driver and passenger seat. As these could be loose. My multiple eleganza 2004 light came on. Tried the passenger side no luck. Tried the drivers side and light went out

Or if the above doesn't work for you....... take the speedo binnacle apart, put a rolled up ball of paper in the airbag warning segment so the light doesn't show, and MOT as normal.

Worth a try if all else fails.

it's not an option, because when you turn key in to mar position, all light are flashing and when you hide the airbag light it won't flash and the MOT specialist will know thats something not write.

Just fixed a mk1 and a mk2 with air bag lights on.

MK1 2004, was orange connector under the passenger seat. Remade connection, jiggled and fault cleared. In front corners nearest doors on passenger and drivers side. (actually, I did not check drivers side) I think this will get some solder applied in future to prevent it happening again.
Does anybody know if there any issue just taking the connector out ?

MK2.2010 Much better/upgraded connectors in same places. It was not this that was fault.
Issue was the key switch near the fuses in the drivers storage. The cable was disconnected on the back of the key switch! Plugged in and all clear.
I dropped battery negative lead off on this one - after reading more on here.

No software reset was needed on either. Fault just cleared, when ignition put back on.

Wiring is crazy tight and pulled on very short radius, on both models which just feels wrong/odd.
