Technical Multipla! - Woes

Hello, I got given a 1.9 JTD multipla(MK1) back in october, and what a car. My dad recently brought a new car so at least the multipla was mine!

Its quite a nippy car, and ive done a few mods to it, full neon kit, LED's under the grill, awesome sound system and removed some of the seats for a bit more GO! when needed!

However 2 days ago i fired up the engine and a horrable rattling noise came from under the bonnet, almost like machine gun fire. It only seems to do it when the cars been in the cold all night a friend surgested it was the power steering pump however i cant pin point where the noise is coming from, i know its coming from the lower regions of the drivers side. Has anyone encountered a similer prob? the cars been serviced every year since 2000 (when my dad had it new) and was only serviced back in oct. However due i dont fancy taking it back to fiat to have a look (im only 19 and the MOT was bad enough!)

I cant find a haynes manual on it anywhere, has anyone got a PDF or likewise with in-deph diagrams or such?

Haynes (or any other) book wont help you find the noise,trained mechanic would be best bet.
