Technical Multipla wing mirrors

I'm having bother with a wing mirror in that when I switch on my ignition it folds forward, and then I have to pull it back by hand.
I took it off to have a look at it but could see no way of getting into it.
Any help greatly apprciated

our pla did that
i operated the mirror switch so the drivers one was in the open position then pulled the passenger one right back to closed then operated the switch to close the drivers mirror
then operated the switch to open them out again and they both went to the correct position
