Hello,

Redex is not bad. However make sure you get the diesel one (black) and not the petrol one (red).

However, I have a feeling that the problem you are having may not be solved by redex. A very common problem with the JTD engine is MAF sensor failure. It doesn't always give a fault indication on the dash, and symptoms can basically be described as the car felling slow and sluggish. Its VERY easy to diagnose and test the MAF, simply unplug it and go for a drive. It will not do any harm to your engine or bring up any fault codes. If you dont know where the MAF sensor is then have a look HERE. Its on a punto but is in pretty much the same place on the multi. Its certainly worth a try.

Hope that helps,
Alan

Redex is good, but only when put directly into the cylinder's. This is because the concentration is normally to low when mixed with fuel in the tank. I'm not sure how you would add it to the cylinder's in a Diesel though, because I only know of it being done with a Petrol, when the spark plugs are removed.

Use Millers Sport4, to keep injectors and fuel system in tip top condition.
Plus it is a cetane booster enabling a cleaner fuller burn more oomph.

A full service usually works wonders!!! all filters changed and a good full synthetic oil change.

Anything more serious could be one of a dozen things.:)

(n):shakehead::nono:, have they been proven? Think most are normally a con, redex is the only one I know that works, but as usual, I could be wrong:eek:
