Technical multipla oil change need help

I've over filled the engine oil and need to remove some from sump there is a plug on base of sump but it doesn't appear to have normal hexagon bolt, do I need a special tool ?

You need a hex drive socket,like an allen key.....7mm of the top of my head.Dont try it with an ordinary allen key though,use a decent quality socket set.

what engine is is, most have 12mm

A spare parts seller told me that the stopper of the crankcase of the Multipla may be of two types of 8 mm allen or torx #55
Mine's seems to be torx but now I can unscrew with allen 8 mm, I think someone in fiat official workshop used then incorrect key
