Can anybody advise, does this come away from the outside of the door after the mirror screws are removed, or is it bonded
Need to take it off my existing door to fox onto a replacement door. Thanks.

Someone else may be able to advise you better, but on many car doors the rear of the quarter light window has the guide for the main window glass up and down channel and is often fixed by a screw at the bottom of that long channel and also on the top of the door near the end of the quarter light.
So if you were not taking the main glass out it may be possible to lower the main glass to the bottom and after undoing the quarter light screws ease the guide away enough to slide the quarter light out of the door frame if lucky.

Ahh, i just thought it was bonded to the outside of the door against a rubber strip. The stealers want £233 for a new one so i think it would be better to be able to retrieve the original based on that ridiculous price i feel

Yes. May be able to get a door with the glass already intact.
