Multipla Multipla Hubby

Hi all,
Just joined, as my wife has a 53 plate Multipla and I am getting more and more repair works to it coming my way. I am amazed at how much the Fiat garage wants to do the simple jobs, and will always consider repairing things myself. looking to get and hopefully give advice on anything that I can.
Hope you are all enjoying 2014 so far and that it progresses repair free (bet mine dosen't!!!)

Haha. Just got a fiat multipla with the engine in bits so think I have a few repair bills coming my way.

f you gonna be annoyed with your Multi every time something is up with it you'll spend a lot of time annoyed, just smile and love it

It's got a few electrical gremlins that I don't know how to fix, and is going to cost ££'s- It's in limp mode at the moment.

The best car I have ever owned, or it would be if I knew how to fix it!

Actually, I think it may be sorted now. The sensor on the bottom of the fuel filter had bare wires that shorted and blew the fuse that controlled the speedo and waste gate solenoid, replaced the fuse and it's no longer limping! Still have the EML light on and it looks like the MAF is duff but apart from that we're back in business!

All that head scratching and swearing over one poxy fuse!

I'm going to stick a new MAF on and get the codes read and deleted. Fingers crossed it will get rid of the misfire at idle and the EML light.
