Technical multipla ecu swap ?

hi lads , can you just do a straight swap like for like with an ecu or do you have to have it reprogrammed etc, ive got a 16v 100 elx 2001 multi cheers gaz

Pretty sure you'll need it virginised (or the code box and etc.).
