Hi,
Notice a noise when putting the a/c on. Never thought anything about it. A day or 2 later a/c off i heard the sound of a fan belt shredding. Sure enough the outer edge had shredded.
I replaced the belt and within a short journey a/c on it did it again. Help ?
The tensioner is perfetly in line and does not squeal or squeak. the clutch pulley seems to be free and has no play.
The a/c compressor seems fine and rotates by hand no probs.
The bottom pulley seems fine and is not damaged.
Seems to be shredding on the o/s first.:bang:
