General Multijet 8v swirl flaps

Hi, I bought a relatively low mileage Sedici with a 1.9 multijet 19aa engine. As far as I understand the 8v 120hp doesn’t have any swirl flaps but can anyone confirm? I saw and heart many stories about the 16v version injecting the swirl flaps into the cylinder totalling the car so i sorta want to avoid that
