Technical multi track rod ends and suspention

hi again my front susspension snapped last night had a new spring fitted but mechanic rekons it killed the track rod end could this be true if so do i need to replace both sides and how much do i pay as i found them for a tenner each or 40 a pair on ebay any help appreciated

How can no one no a simple answer to a question u all own a fiat and must of sorted this sort of problem out

Never had this problem on my fiat

The spring breaking wouldn't kill the track rod end.

However, it might have already needed replacing and when the guy checked the steering/suspension it may have come to light. As both track rod ends are presumably the same age/mileage it might be sensible to change them both as the tracking would need to be done each time.

So what sort if price do I pay for the track rod ends tracking is 15 pound plus vat stupid vat

120 cheaper is better for me my local motor factors wants nearly 20 quid each a rip off every penny off helps thanks
