multi thermostat info needed ??

hi can anyone tell me is it possible to change just the thermostat on my multi petrol 1.6 rather than buy the whole housing assembly which is a bit much to buy on a shoestring budget !! any help appreciated cheers gaz

Not that I'm aware of. I looked into this with my JTD multi and ended up wearing a coat and putting up with a slow warmup!
