MS Zune MP3 Player

I love my Blue&Me system. I couldnt imagine driving without it now. the only annoyance I have is that a product designed by microsoft is not compatible with another product, also designed by microsoft.

It would make life easier if MS released a patch which allowed the Zune to work with the cars system, but i dont see this happening. I was tempted for this reason to get an ipod. but I just figured il stick with my zune as it is a better device than the ipod and has better software than itunes. so instead just got a 2GB USB stick.

even still, how the system recognises your contacts im sure the same could have been implemented with Blue&Me and artist/song recognition.

The Blue&Me system in Fiat vehicles looks at every media player as something called a Mass Storage device. This works for many different types of media players, however, the Zune is not one of them. Zune requires a specific protocol to communicate with it over USB. Blue&Me was built before this protocol was defined and there is not currently an updated available to make this compatible.
