I seem to be asking a lot of questions haha.....

Anyway, What is the easiest way to convert a Cinq to MPI? Can the Late Seicento Sporting Loom be used? I'm thinking specifically in regard to using a Punto 75 engine.

If I get the whole loom from a Seicento MPI and the engine and ECU from a Punto 75 will these work together?

There are a few other little issues, one to do with fueling i believe. Someone with more knowledge will certainly explain.

The short answer is: No

Just get the engine in, splice the 4 injectors into the loom and have the car mapped for the 75. But don't forget to change the fuel pump to 3 bars and make sure that everything is ready for the higher pressure.

wouldn't do this. mapping the stock ECU to do this is not cheap, and ultimately a bodge especially considering we're talking about a turbo engine here.

bin the stock ECU and fit an aftermarket system.

Not sure why the cam phase sensor is there if the injection is not sequntial.

Are we talking about a turbo engine? If so, bin, bag or sell the stock ECU. Go aftermarket. Chances are it won't cost that more than a re-map and it will be able to do the job properly.

I just can't see how you'd realistically control fuelling and ignition on boost any other way, let alone build in any sensible safety features (retard on knock isn't a sane option on a turbo motor).
