Just did a quick and rough calculation of what MPG I am getting from my 1.8 Marea Weekend and worked it out at 31.44 mpg which I thought wasn't that bad for the driving that I do. I do 90 miles a day round trip to the office and back, 60 of those miles being on the A11 dual carriageway averaging 80mph (although I have been testing the limits of the happy pedal too ! ;))and the other 30 on the A134 cross country between Thetford & Bury at about 40-60mph unless I get caught behind a tractor like I did this morning ;)

All of this with the climate control permanently on at 18-20°c

Don't know how that compares to anyone's 1.8 Bravo/a ?

I get about 33-35mpg in my 1.8 Bravo these days!

Used to be better but I don't think my S/S Exhaust is helping!

I do a 30 mile round trip to work and back and never any traffic jams only when there's minor road works! It's on an A road whith plenty of overtaking opportunities which means i often accelerate over the speed limit to overtake slow cars!! ;)

Not sure what mine is at the moment. Was hovering around 32-34mpg.

Since I've swapped the air filter, there's been a marked improvement. More power and better fuel economy. Must be around 36-38mpg. Will put it to the test soon to find out :)

Not sure what is going on but for the past month or so I've been averaging 35mpg in the HGT, and this is with enthusiastic use of the happy pedal.
