2013 1.6MJ Do I have the record


Swindon to Oxford 91.3 MPG
Swindon to Dereham in Norfolk (176 miles) 85.6mpg and
the last 20,000 miles at 62MPG.


Not too shoddy for saving the pennies and up yours VW!


Driven at max legal speeds, but no more, and without any care being taken I get 54 mpg.


This sad display is of course age related so forgive me all you youngsters!!

That looks like me before 6 points unreasonably donated forced extreme caution on speed! I suppose I should have checked much more carefully on the following car before treading on the right hand pedal..... I had a 1.6 Focus a while ago and that showed 11 mpg after a sound hammering...
