mpg 1.6 hlx

hi just purchased yellow hlx 1.6 at last any idea on expected mpg ive owned in past 1,8hlx,1,2 80sx, 1,9td and all returned very poor mpg so fingers crossed this is better thanks guys and dolls

what was your mpg in the 1.8hlx? ive just bought one and at best i seem to get 150 miles out of £20 (mostly urban driving) though its normally lower.

that sounds about right i would get 70 to a tenner round town

I can get 120 miles from £10 @ 87.9p/litre if I take it REALLY easily in my 1.2 16V with new exhaust

haha i did a whole tank in 165 miles in my 1.6 beat that for bad mpg

Why did you find your 1.9 TD mpg poor ?. they're probably the best bar the JTD..
