My kids have got mp3 players. My Aiwa headunit plays cdr/w discs, but not discs burnt in mp3 format.

Is there a cable I can buy which would connect the mp3 headphone socket to the aux in socket of my headunit? If so then presumably I could listen to all the files on the mp3 player rather than the 15-20 tracks I currenty can with normal discs.

What do you think? Thanks

If there is an aux in socket on the front of your headunit then its simple, you just need a cable with the required plugs on each end. If the socket on the head unit is a standard 3.5 mm stereo socket, and the same on the mp3 player, then a standard 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo cable is all you need. try a local TV shop, or you could get them in maplins etc. or make one up using two old headphone leads..

Owen.

Thanks, Owen

I'll take a look at Maplins this weekend.
